Fortunately we have ways to connect with national parks from a distance through digital opportunities and activities to do in your own home or neighborhood. There are enough activities to keep you occupied for days! Find some suggestions below to engage with parks remotely and check for additional opportunities on park and NPS program websites.

Saturday, June 20 @ 11:00am

Canvas Painting

Join Olivia Allen for this online class on the library FB page.  Here are her instructions so you'll be prepared: I mix all my paints with just primary colors so as long as you have red, blue, yellow (black & white also) you'll be good to go. I used a 16x20 canvas but almost any canvas will be fine, I know some people like to use smaller or square ones. As far as brushes go, I would say the same thing - most anything you have will work. It’s probably best to have at least one large brush (1 inch or larger), a medium (square or round), and a small detail brush.

Fortunately we have ways to connect with national parks from a distance through digital opportunities and activities to do in your own home or neighborhood. There are enough activities to keep you occupied for days! Find some suggestions below to engage with parks remotely and check for additional opportunities on park and NPS program websites.
